DESCRIPTION
What’s old is new again. Nowhere is this more apparent than the realm of the pilsner, whose ingredient-driven profile challenges the dominating paradigm of “more is more” that’s ruled the contemporary craft beer scene. We'll delve into how beer culture is at the crossroads of traditional European approaches and the rising class of American brewers who are making these styles via the lens of ingredients, sourcing, technology and the palate of the consumer. This event will be moderated by Jess Mayhugh of Punch, and will be held outdoors in The Yard at Threes Brewing Gowanus.
